Cabot Thermals Ltd began as Cabot Insulation in the late 1960’s and became Cabot Thermals Ltd in 1973. We are full members of TICA (Thermal insulation contractors association).

We have witnessed different types of specifications as the industry has developed. Our trained engineers are experienced in the application of all aspects of thermal, acoustic and fire protection insulation.

Insulation materials currently used:
Mineral wool, Armaflex (nitrile rubber), Phenolic foam, Nilflam, Calcium silicate, Foam glass and Ceramic insulation. Purpose made mats fitted to valves and flanges.

Choice of finish over the above list of insulation materials:
Aluminium foil, aluminium cladding, PIB, and Isogenopak.

Applications that the above materials are designed:
Pipework, ductwork, boilers, calorifiers and vessels.

We have carried out insulation work for:
Rolls Royce, South Gloucestershire Council, Bath & North East Somerset Council, Royal United Hospital Bath NHS Trust, United Bristol Health Trust, Haden Young and Mitie Group.
